Guardians of the Galaxy End Scene just got a LOT darker

So, I’m assuming that a number of you have seen Guardians of the Galaxy. If not, *spoilers!*

So, you remember the end scene with Baby Groot dancing, except when Drax is looking at him?

Well, apparently there’s an explanation for that.

Well, let me highlight a small portion of a quote they highlighted:

Dancing is ludicrous to Drax. I don’t think he understands it. If Drax owned a town, if he was a mayor, the first law would be no dancing. But yeah, so at the end of the movie, little baby Groot didn’t want to get caught dancing, because he would kill him.

So, did you catch that?

DRAX WOULD HAVE KILLED GROOT IF HE’D CAUGHT GROOT DANCING.

What. The. Heck.

“Heyo, little guy! I understand that you’re no more than a match, and you saved me (multiple times), but YOU’RE DANCING NOW DIE!”? SERIOUSLY?!

I had no idea how dark this movie actually was…

So. In case you weren’t aware. I love cool new tech.

And I just found out about a cool new computery thing that came out towards the end of last year. It’s the HP “Sprout”.

It has a cool projector and stuff setup. It looks like it has a lot of potential for designers. And it just looks overall cool.

There’s a decent review, with a video, on c-net.

So, as some of you may be aware, Disney released a new, live action version of Cinderella this past weekend.

In honor of that, the people who do Honest Trailers released an honest trailer for the old version of Cinderella. It’s rather amusing, and a bit cleaner than some of their other ones. (Not a G-rating, but still very mild.)

Do you have weekend plans yet?

Because if not, there’s a fun opportunity that’s making the rounds on Facebook. There’s a Bed and Breakfast in Maine that’s up for sale in a different way from most businesses. The current owner is holding a competition– write a 200 word essay.

The entry fee is $150 or something like that. So, a bit more than I want to spend for a company I don’t actually want to own.

But I thought that was a cool idea.

Needless to say, some other Internet Users are jumping on, and creating amusing descriptions (and sample entry) of the competition. Others are more serious.

Have fun writing!

Or not. The choice, after all, is yours.

I saw an absolutely adorable video of baby otters yesterday.

It was posted in 2009, and it shows some otter pups getting really excited. (Apparently their favorite caretaker was coming over to them.)

What the description did not say, however, is that young otters sound like squeak toys. Seriously. You need to watch the video.

Also, I hadn’t realized that otters climb. Isn’t that really cute?

So. As you’re probably aware, Pixar is coming out with a new movie! (Yay!) It’s called Inside Out, and its main characters are people, and their human-ized emotions.

And Pixar just released their new trailer a couple of days ago. I’m excited. Pixar always does good work (even their “meh” movies are “wow!” by other-movie standards) and now their trailer shows some of the story inside “Inside Out.”

It looks fun!
