Hello!

As some of you may be aware, Netflix is releasing a new Marvel superhero show today(September 30). And in the time leading up to it, they (of course) released promo photos.

Well, one author at Wired took a look at one, and therefore decided to calculate the (estimated) mass of the superhero protagonist. Because Wired.

Anyway. Have a lovely day!

Fantastic Trailers and Where to Find Them

Hello!

SO, the final Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them trailer is out!! And it’s… fantastic. (<- Sorry, not sorry. Couldn't resist.)

I really Like what they did with the American Wizards. And it sounds like there might be a tie-in to one of the World Wars, since Grindelwald was mentioned. And the music sounds pretty epic, too!

So, yep. It looks promising.

Have a lovely day!

Coke Bottle… JELLO.

HI!

Ok. So, yesterday, I posted about Coke Bottle Cakes. And they looked pretty good.

Well, I also encountered a tutorial for… coke bottle Jello.

And this one actually looks pretty dang close to the original! The sound of the narrator’s voice is a touch annoying, but the final product is really cool.

Enjoy!

Hello!

So, somebody posted on Facebook about a fun dessert that I needed to share with you.

It’s soda-flavored cake. That looks like a soda-bottle.

It looks seriously fun.

Now, where can I find a super-sharp razor blade, some time, some reasonable chocolate, some patience, and some great melting chocolate so I can make one?

Ah well. Enjoy the video!

(And if you make one… SEND PICTURES!!!)

The weather is irritating me

Hi.

So, it’s technically fall, right? As in, the season that starts to cool down? May even get brisk, turn into perfect weather for a warm beverage by a fireplace with a good book, while looking out the window?

Well, WHERE IS IT?!?!

IT’S GETTING UP TO ABOUT 100 TODAY. Where. Is. FALL?!?!

I’m not expecting any Fall colors until November, if last year was any indication… but could we at LEAST get some non-summer TEMPERATURES?

Would one of you get on that for me?

Anyway. I’m going to go make some more lemonade or something, and try to drown my woes in coolness. Or at least cool off.

I hope you have a less miserably hot day.

I said something I wouldn’t have expected

Hello!

So, this happened in a conversation today: “I should probably leave, but your bookcase is too comfortable.”

And I was serious.

It really was quite comfortable. It’s a nice metal-sided one (so it was pleasantly cool), and it was tall, flat, and smooth. So basically, it was the perfect thing to lean against.

Anyway. Happy Saturday!

BBC Celebrities Hamlet Skit

Hi!

I recently discovered a lovely little skit from the BBC, involving various celebrities debating where the emphasis should go for the famous “To Be or Not To Be” Hamlet Soliloquy.

Even though it’s really soft and hard to hear, it’s worth watching.

Enjoy!

Recent Record-breaking Lightning!

Hello!

Apparently, just within the past couple of days, two world records relating to lightning were broken. One was how long a lightning bolt lasts. The other was the distance covered. The new record is now over 200 MILES LONG. That’s… pretty long.

So, yep. Have a lovely day!

Firefox “Census” is amusing

Note: If this is your first time to TotalFluff, please visit this brief explanation. Thanks!

Greetings, readers!

I was amused to discover that Firefox is conducting what they refer to as a “census” of their users.

It does not technically qualify, as it is an opt-in survey, and thereby does not guarantee that every person who uses Firefox will take the survey. However, it is still an amusing survey, with questions such as “how many unspoken languages are you fluent in?” and “What is your Hogwarts house?”

They clearly tried to appeal to some of the fanbases. They also clearly missed a fair number of quite vocal ones (for instance, they missed the “super” part of “SuperWhoLock“. Actually, upon further reflection, they appeared to ignore the existence of Tumblr users altogether, despite acknowledging the Reddit userbase.)

Regardless, it is amusing and worth taking. Enjoy.
