Word updated annoyingly.

Hi.

So, I recently switched to Office 360 or whatever it’s called. The one that comes with updates.

And there must have been an update recently. Because Word is now flagging me when I’m not being (according to it) 100% efficient in my wording. As in, it’s highlighting pretty much every stinkin’ adverb and adjective. Given that my current writing thing I’m using word for absolutely requires the specifications, this is driving me crazy.

It also looks like the modifications to what Word looks for may only apply to the single document. I’m not sure.

On the bright side, at least it is able to be fixed.

So, yeah. Microsoft. Irritating, but certainly wouldn’t want to go without.

Anyway. Have a lovely Saturday!

Too Much to do + “Spring Forward” = BAAADDD!

Hi.

So, Spring Forward. Gah. Not a fan.

Not the least of which, is because I’m usually hyper busy around this time anyway. So the “too much to do” combined with “challenges getting to bed anyway” AND “Bedtime now an hour earlier body-clock time”? Yeah. Bedtime kinda gets… eliminated.

(As you can probably tell by the coherence of the post.)

I’m sure there’s a reasonable reason for it. I just don’t want to know.

So, yep. Have a lovely Wednesday.

“Broody” may have committed an unforgivable crime

Hi!

So, some of you may remember that Fluffy at one point recommended following the twitter account “run” by the “Brooding YA Hero” from all your favorite Young Adult Fiction Reads.

Well, Broody (that’s his name) just committed a potentially unforgivable crime. He is taking credit for the hour less sleep all of us got.

So, yeah. Blame Broody.

Other than that, have a lovely Sunday.

New Live Action “Little Mermaid” looks cool!

Hello!

So, ’tis the season for live-action versions of stories that have been popular as animated films… One of the more recent ones I’ve seen a trailer for is a “Little Mermaid” retelling. (Although this one’s actually not Disney.)

Anyway, the trailer makes it look like it could be pretty cool, with more folk-magic-y stuff, rather than more classical mythology. Which can be different and fun!

So, yeah. Here’s the trailer. Enjoy, and Happy Saturday!

“My Name Is Cow” Poem

Note: If this is your first time to TotalFluff, please visit this brief explanation. Thanks!

Hi!

So, yesterday, I was just introduced to a Poem Sensation that started in January. It’s called “My Name Is Cow.”

The poem originated on Reddit, in response to a response to someone asking health inspectors what the worst health-code violation was. Apparently, there was one person whose relative had an old 18th century style castle restauranty thing, and while the health inspector was there, a cow somehow got loose and started licking the bread.

A poem was written in celebration of this glorious event.

I’ve included screenshots, of both the original post and the poem.

Enjoy!

Original post and poem.

Perks of living in a castle…?

My name is cow poem.

Packaging can be unexpected

Hi!

Ok. So. I got a couple packages yesterday that I was expecting (yay!) and one that I wasn’t expecting until today (YAYER!).

The packages I was expecting today included a box, and a mail-envelop. (Yellow, with bubble wrap.) The contents were push-scissors, and bias tape.

I’d expected the scissors to be in the box, in order to prevent poke-age, and the bias tape to be in the envelop because it’s flexy.

Nope.

Reversed.

Yep.

Fortunately, the scissors were in a plastic boxish thing of their own (you know, the type you can generally open with scissors), so they didn’t poke through the envelop. And fortunately, they also didn’t actually bend when shoved into the mailbox. So, that’s a plus!

Anyway. Happy Thursday!
