Greetings, readers!

You may recall that a while ago, Weird Al released his “Alexander Hamilton Polka”.

And then there was a lip-sync battle and reactions and stuff!

Yes. Thank you for that contribution, Webmaster.

As I was saying, the Hamilton cast just recently uploaded a video of them lip-syncing with the polka.

Enjoy.

Absolutely adorable, punny arty goodness

Hi!

I recently found an artist on DeviantArt who does absolutely adorable work. Usually with puns or mashup of some kind of wordplay or something. So one of the more recent ones, for example, is a goldfish retriever.

All the art is absolutely adorable, and you should go spend some time looking at it all.

Enjoy!

And tech and music combine AGAIN.

Hi!

So. You know the piece I’ve been sharing a few times?

Well, somebody converted their piano to be able to be played by a midi-player.

And then they got their piano to play that impossible song. (<- link in case the video doesn’t load.)

And may have broken one of their keys having the piano play it.

Again, it’s quite impressive. Enjoy!

A side-effect of cool music tech!

Hi!

So. Remember that piece I shared yesterday?

It turns out that a piano teacher teamed up with students to play it… with 14 students.

It’s quite impressive. And just shows one of the fun things with “impossible” music. Once you name it impossible, musicians seem to try to want to prove you wrong! (<- link if the video isn’t loading.)

So, enjoy!

Advantages of Tech for Music!

Hi!

So. I kinda really like what technology is enabling us to do with music.

For example, there are some pieces that are really fast, and not exactly possible to play on a piano. and it’s possible to get some neat visual effects with how the music is literally designed. Here’s an example. I think it’s from a game (but I’m not sure), and it’s called “Night of Nights”.

Enjoy!

ITTY BITTY CAKE.

Hi!

Somebody made an UTTERLY ADORABLE TINY UNICORN CAKE. And made a video of it. And uploaded it to Facebook.

It’s worth watching.

Enjoy!
