Weird Al and Hamilton

Greetings, readers!

As some of you may be aware, there is an extraordinarily popular musical called “Hamilton”.

Furthermore, the musician Weird Al just released a polka with lyrics from Hamilton.

It is quite remarkable, and clearly required a great deal of skill. (As a warning: It has a touch of unsavory language.)

Enjoy!

Internet Rabbit Trails are Interesting!

Hi!

Yesterday, I ended up on a rabbit trail. Background: I currently have a nice, little bag made of foam that is the perfect size for what I need. However, it’s also getting a bit older. So, I was wondering whether or not I could find the type of foam stuff used. (And if so, it would be cool to be able to use some pictures from recent sunsets!)

That led to trying to find patterns, since I’m not sure what type of material is actually used.

Looking for patterns led me to a different set of patterns.

Finally, I ended up on a blog about constructing pants patterns using painters’ tape.

Tangents are Fun!

Have a lovely Saturday!

Charming Music List

Hi!

So. I have an Amazon Prime membership. And one of the things they have is a series of CDs from TSFH that are available to listen to. One that’s being just a generally nice set of music is the “Heaven Anthology“.

Or as an alternative (assuming the link works), there’s a YouTube set with pretty similar music.

Enjoy! Happy Thursday!

“What Makes a Good Question?” (2)

Note: If this is your first time to TotalFluff, please visit this brief explanation. Thanks!

Hi!

As you may remember, the most recent question I asked is about what even makes a good question.

And today, I’d like to propose that part of what can make a good question is that it’s a bit surprising. Sure, you can ask a “favorite color” type of question. But that’s asked so often, you probably have a canned answer.

Unexpected questions, on the other hand, have the potential to help you think.

What do you think, though?

Stabby the Roomba

Hi!

I have a new favorite Internet Celebrity. Who doesn’t actually exist. Yet. Well, he (it?) kindof does. But not really.

You see, it’s a “space roomba”. With a knife taped to its back. Named Stabby.

And his story is delightful, and well worth a read.

Enjoy!
