Hi!

There’s a new post up at the Sister Site. It’s on “Caramelized Sugar” Chocolate Chip Cookies? Because apparently it’s possible to caramelize sugar, and then bake with it. Which sounds sweet. (Yes, pun intended.)

It looks like a great weekend activity.

Enjoy!

(The sister site still exists.)

Hi!

In case you were wondering, yes, the sister site (cooking.totalfluff.com) still exists. In fact, there’s even a new post up! The Student didn’t develop the recipe this time, but there’s still a nice picture. And it’s of home-made bagels. Which are fluffy. And therefore totally worth posts.

Enjoy, and happy Sunday!

Adorable Book of Kids’ Recipes

Hi!

Somebody shared this a couple days ago, and I thought it was amusing. Some teacher apparently asked 5-year-olds how they would make certain recipes, and turned the responses into an actual recipe book. Pictures were then posted to Twitter. And the results are adorably hilarious. Like, seriously. Flour can get measured in minutes here.

Anyway. Enjoy!

Cat “Cupcake” molds are a thing

Hi!

Somebody showed me a thing recently, and I can’t really imagine it going well… It’s a “cupcake” mold, shaped like a cat. And it comes as a set of four. And I’m really not sure if the person who made the things has seen either a cupcake or a cat. Because it’s too big for a cupcake, and DO YOU SEE THEIR SAMPLE FINISHED ONE?!

WHY DID THEY GO GLOSSY?!?!

Anyway. Have a lovely day!

(And if you do make one, I want to see.)

Fantastic Chicken Parm Recipe

Hi!

So. Some folkks got quite into the whole April Fools thing this year. And some of the results were fantastic!

For example, there’s a chicken parm recipe that somebody-or-another shared on facebook. And it is well worth watching. I may never make a Chicken Parm* with the conventional ingredients again…

Enjoy!
