Crabs that Clone Anemones

Note: If this is your first time to TotalFluff, please visit this brief explanation. Thanks!

Greetings, readers!

I was recently introduced to an interesting type of crab. It uses anemones to bring food closer to it.

And it will periodically rip the anemone in half.

There is a rather remarkable article about it; I found it interesting, and hope you will as well.

Drones for Fun and Entertainment

Greetings, readers!

Yesterday was a major entertainment event in the United States. One of the features of this apparently included a music show that incorporated drone technology for lovely effects.

The technology behind it is interesting, and apparently required more work than might have been anticipated.

Wired has an interesting article about it.

Enjoy.

Tea Duels should become more common.

Hi!

So, I was recently introduced to the existence of a fantastic sportsyish-thing.

It’s called a tea-duel.

It’s basically a Victorian Era / Steampunk Inspired competition/game/thing. Two people have tea, dip their biscuit in tea, and the person who both holds their biscuit longest and gets it to their mouth successfully wins.

…And the video does a much better job of explaining than I just did. So, enjoy!

And I hope you have a lovely, sports-filled Sunday!

Simon’s Cat Compilation!

Hi!

So, Simon’s Cat uploaded a compilation video yesterday, in honor of Valentine’s Day coming up.

It’s basically the previous three Valentine’s videos, combined. But together, they tell a slightly different, more complete story than I’d originally noticed. So, yep!

Enjoy, and happy Saturday!

Mixed Love of Carry-On Compartments

Hi!

So, I recently did a bit of traveling. And I have a new carry-on bag. And it’s amazing. It’s small, spacious, and has so many pockets.

That actually causes a minor problem, though… You see, when packing, it’s a total breeze. There’s always another pocket you can slip something into last-minute.

If you want to get anything, though… You need to remember where you put it. Depending on The Thing, that might be harder or easier.

So, yeah. Love it, but it can require full unpacking (and hopefully, you succeed in that!) before finding The Things.

Have a lovely Thursday!

Bouncy Fluff

Hi!

So, a few days ago, I got to watch a very fluffy dog play on a wood floor.

It’s very amusing.

You see, due to all the fluff and the wood, the poor little thing wasn’t exactly able to get traction immediately. She would kinda scramble for a bit, and then be able to run. And she’d also slide a fair bit.

She did learn to turn herself when approaching a wall, however, so that she wouldn’t run nose first into a wall.

The amusing part was how she dealt wit it. You see, running still provided minimal traction. Bouncing like a rabbit, however…? That worked. So rather than just running straight forward, she would bound across the floor, going almost as far vertically as horizontally.

It was really cute.

Anyway, have a lovely Wednesday!
