I’m currently at a place with no air conditioning. The place does, however, have some very nice fans. And one of the features of these fans is a “breeze setting”. It randomly cycles through fan-speeds over the course of a bit more than a minute, to simulate the wind.
It’s really cool! (pun intended.)

I recently found the “Vacuum Cleaner Defense League”. It’s a league, primarily of animal members, who are united against vacuum cleaners.
They even have a website and some political signs.

A couple days ago, I fell down the rabbit hole of things known as vegetable cutters.
In particular, these are things you can use to do things like stamp vegetables. Like, you know. Cut cucumber into slices, remove segments in the shape of a heart, and insert a heart-shaped carrot slice into it instead.

I’ve been rereading some of the Harry Potter books, and I just reread the Luck Potion section of Harry Potter 6. And I now have a theory.
Why do I have a feeling this is not going to end well?
That’s silly. It’s about a good luck potion.
I do not see why that should reassure me.
Whatever, Fluffy.
Anyway. So. There’s a line in there about how Harry doesn’t know what’s going to happen, but that Felix does.
Clearly, then, what the potion does is actually open up a portal to an alternate dimension, where some benevolent entity Felix is. He clearly lives outside of time, and probably can only affect our reality when invited through Felix Felicis.
So when Harry refers to Felix knowing, he’s actually referring to that.

I realize it’s been out for about a week now, but I just saw the ComiCon trailer for the upcoming Fantastic Beasts movie. And it looks like it could be fun! I especially like that there seems to be a throwback to some of the Hogwarts stuff. I miss that castle.
