Hi!
TONIGHT’S THE NIGHT!! LAST JEDI COMES OUT!!!!
Anyway. While you’re waiting for your showing, here’s a set of adorable comics inspired by Force Awakens (and others), done in the style of Calvin and Hobbes.

Hi!
I am super excited for Thursday Night / Friday. You know, when Last Jedi comes out.
And so, here’s a friendly reminder of something from almost nine years ago, shortly before the last of the prequels-which-shall-not-be-named were released.

Greetings, readers!
It may not come as a surprise to you that I enjoy the YouTube channel “cinemasins.” It is a channel that looks at popular movies and snarkily points out various mistakes, plot-holes, and other potentially questionable decisions.
Two aspects that Cinemasins frequently includes are the “repeated elements” sins, and the “Sins itself” sins. The first occur when there is a trope that is overused. (For example: “Dramatic Stares” to indicate significance of an event.) The second occurs when the movie itself points out potential sins.
Much to my amusement, the new Jurassic World movie has released a trailer preview that may count for both. It has a repeated element, and by merit of the preview being created by the movie’s creators, I personally think this is a case of the producers “sinning themselves.”
