Through Facebook, I was recently informed of an interesting technology on Kickstarter. It is a pocket laser engraver. The technology itself looks neat. However, I am currently wondering: How long until someone uses it for graffiti? And how would you cover something like that up?

Somebody was brilliant. They created a large, squishy USB enter-key pillow that you can punch. So, next time you’re super fed up with a form you need to fill out, you can actually punch enter, rather than just typing furiously.

I’m looking forward to the whole oversized keyboard now…

I have recently been introduced to a remarkable Twitter account.

It is the “Real Time WWII” account. They put together six years worth of tweets as though World War II was going on right now, according to the same timeline it actually followed. They tweeted through once, and have now restarted.

It actually restarted August 31 / September 1, (depending on your timezone) and is worth exploring.

It occurred to me recently that the phrase “time consuming” or “just eating time” can actually be taken literally.

And here I thought you were primarily done with aggravating posts. This is going to be one of those leaps of logic, correct?

Yeah, well, whatever.

So here’s how it works. Everyone knows that time is money, right? And we use money to buy the things. Including food. So, in a manner of speaking, we convert money into food. Then obviously you eat food. So, if time = money, money = food, then time = food. And because time = food, and we eat food, with some basic substitution that we eat time.
