Hiya, Fluffsters!
So, there’s (unsurprisingly) a Doctor Who YouTube fan channel. And the particular YouTube channel in question had the two sisters from The Hillywood Show on it, talking about “The Impossible Astronaut.” It’s a fun piece, and includes some interesting analysis! (Head’s up: Spoilers.)

Hiya, Fluffsters!
So… A friend shared a YouTube video with me that I found funny. It’s an interrogation scene. Based on the story of the Animorphs. (A kids’ book series I read when I was a lot younger.) Basically, all you need to know is that much of the dialogue is the plot of the series.

Greetings, readers!
Yesterday, I discovered a fan-made Star Wars film that came out about two days ago. It is a very well choreographed, cinematically excellent nearly 20 minute long YouTube video that looks at Darth Maul.
Of course, this video has its problems. (Especially where plot is concerned.) However, given that it is fan-made, I choose to mostly ignore those when I recommend watching. Given some of the shots and the choreography, it is astonishing to me that it is, in fact, fan made.

Hiya, Fluffsters!
So, once more, I have a Hillywood YouTube parody video to share with you.
This one is their Harry Potter Musical Parody / Tribute Thingy. The singing may not be the best, but the acting, lyrics, and choreography are fantastically done. And they have a real snake.

Greetings, readers!
In continuation of yesterday’s post, and in part in honor of the film-making award ceremony tonight, I thought I would share with you the next link for the Hillywood Lord of the Rings Parody. This is the “video diary” of “Samwise Gamgee”, or, the actor who plays Sam in the parody video. It contains a little bit more of the actor’s perspective, and is worth watching.

Greetings, readers!
As the Webmaster shared (and I confirmed) yesterday, there is a very well done YouTube channel.
The Webmaster shared a video of their Lord of the Rings parody, set to the music of “Let it Go” from Frozen.
What she did not share, and one of the things I greatly appreciate about these performers, is that they have “behind-the-scenes” videos as well.
These do not necessarily go into as much detail as I might want, but it gives an interesting look into what goes on to make their videos. It is highly impressive.

Hiya, Fluffsters!
So, I recently discovered a YouTube channel. And I am loving (some of) their work. It’s called “the Hillywood Show”. It’s put together by two sisters. And they make musical “parodies” / tributes to some fantastic movies and shows. For example, they did one for The Lord of the Rings… set to the tune of “Let it Go” from Frozen. The two sisters play Frodo and Samwise. (They do not provide the voices. But, yeah.)
Wow. That is really impressive work!
I know, right?! Frozen fit so nicely with that!
I am not entirely sure you understand just how impressive that actually was, Webmaster.
You see, in addition to the lip-syncing being excellent, many of the camera shots used were identical to the original films. Furthermore, the acting involved in that is outstanding.
Oh, yeah! It absolutely is.
So, I’m going to be sharing more of their work on this blog as it seems appropriate. (And as I encounter things that I understand, that I think you’ll enjoy.)
