Hello!

So. My dog. She’s really adorable. She’s also loud. Sometimes at the same time, and occasionally all when she sleeps.

You see, she’s a bit of a sleep-talker. I think there’s only been once recently that she’s woken herself up because she was howling in her sleep (yes, it was as cute as it sounds). Last night and this afternoon, though, there was definitely a bit of grumbling and a bit of high-pitched “I’m-asleep-and-dreaming” barking going on. Combined with a bit of leg-twitchies.

It was really cute. A bit distracting last night while I was trying to sleep. But still cute.

So, yep. That’s the relevant part of my life, recently. How about you?

Masterful Short Story Telling

I was recently introduced to the newest Pixar animated short. Once again, Pixar has utterly astounded me with how well they are able to tell a story in a short period of time, with no words.

This one is called “Piper”. It is, in essence, a “coming of age” story for a sandpiper chick.

In addition to masterful story telling (it is a far more effective story than many), the soundtrack is excellent, and the animation is spectacular. Until the main character was introduced, I was not entirely sure it was animated.

Yesterday, there may have been indications of cause for concern.

Why do I get the feeling I dislike where this is going?

Anyway. Sorry about that. As I was saying, there may be cause for concern. Yesterday, one of the London Tube stations found itself prey to Cat Pictures.

This indicates a further invasion. Cats have already taken over the internet. And now, they appear to be expanding their horizons.

They’ve taken over the lines of information. (The Internet.) They’re taking over the lines of transportation. (The Subway). I can only predict that soon, very soon, they’ll be taking over the world.

Consider yourself warned.

Hi!

Yesterday, my morning started in basically the best way possible. Somebody’s dog in the apartment complex I’m at for now came over and excitedly said hello. The lovely pup was a medium sized dog, so not big enough to knock me off balance or anything, but large enough to reach easily to pet.

And I didn’t need to take care of cleaning up after the pretty that morning. (I’m guessing that’s why the dog was out.)

Yep. I rather like where I am.
