(Language Warning in Link) Whamageddon begins!

Hi!

Are you familiar with Whamageddon?

It starts December 1st. The basic premise is to try to go as long as possible, between December 1 and Christmas without hearing a particular song.

Details (with some definite language — be aware) can be found here.

Good luck!

Storm Troopers set up a Christmas Tree!

Hi!

Star Wars is fantastic. The most recent thing I’m thinking about isn’t officially official, but it should be. Somebody got a bunch of mini storm-troopers to put up a Christmas tree, and they took photos of the process.

Enjoy!

Happy Pi Day, 2018!

Hi!

So. New question. Which is more celebratory of pi day: Using a circular pan to make a pie? Or using a Pi-Shaped Pan to make a Pie?

I’m currently leaning towards “both”, but, you know. If given an actual choice, I’m not sure which I’d choose.

So, thoughts?

Happy Pi Day!

There are MULTIPLE versions of Holly and the Ivy!

Hi!

So. It turns out, there are multiple tunes for Holly and the Ivy.

There’s the one most places overplay. (I found an actually decent one for this post, though.)

And then there’s the one I wouldn’t have identified otherwise.

It’s a bit darker, so, (naturally) I’m currently quite intrigued by it.

Enjoy, and Merry Christmas!

Greetings, readers!

I realized it has been about two years since I last shared a particular piece that I both love, and forgot about. Thus, it made sense to me to remind you of the existence of this piece: Noel Nouvelet.

And once again, I am sharing the King’s Singers version.

Enjoy.
