Allergy-Season Trade-Offs

Hiya, Fluffsters!

So, Allergy Season has started up again where I am. Whee.

However, I figured out a way to make sure that allergies didn’t keep me up a couple nights ago– as caffeinated coffee works well for preventing allergies, I just had a lot of coffee last night. The allergies (mostly) went away!

So it was the caffeine that kept me up. Not the allergies.

Mission accomplished.

Another Behind the Scenes movie

Greetings, readers!

As with last week’s serious with The Hillywood Show, today’s post is a “Behind the Scenes” for the video the Webmaster shared yesterday.

Once more, I am incredibly impressed with the time and effort that went into making the parody. I am also impressed that they got a real snake.

Enjoy, and happy Saturday!

Hillywood Harry Potter Parody– Perfect for Friday!

Hiya, Fluffsters!

So, once more, I have a Hillywood YouTube parody video to share with you.

This one is their Harry Potter Musical Parody / Tribute Thingy. The singing may not be the best, but the acting, lyrics, and choreography are fantastically done. And they have a real snake.

Enjoy, and happy Friday!

Yes, I DO get distracted by Star Trek

Hiya, Fluffsters!

So, I’m not even sure how I found this. Facebook, I probably. But anyway. There’s a video of a guy who turned the downstairs of his house into a craft room for his wife and daughter, while his wife and daughter were out of town. He did a time-lapse video of the entire thing.

What really caught my attention, though, was what he was watching on TV while working. I ended up mostly ignoring the crafting process, in favor of watching sped-up-by-1000 Star Trek Original Series, Voyager, Next Generation, and maybe DS9. (I couldn’t quite tell about DS9.)

Is that odd?

Anyway, here’s the video. You tell me.

Have a great day!

Happy Leap-Day!

Hiya, Fluffsters!

Happy Leap-Day! Today marks the first that Fluff has been around for.

So, in honor of that, here’s a quick list of ways to celebrate.

a) Do one more jumping-jack than usual. After all, what’s a leap-day without leaping?
2) Watch “Pirates of Penzance.” Trust me on this one.
iii) Write a petition for a leap-day-of-the-week, for every leap-year. It would be fun to have an extra day of weekend! (So, an 8-day week, once every four years.)

And that’s about what I have…

Anyway, enjoy this extra day of the year!

Lord of the Rings Parody Video Diary

Greetings, readers!

In continuation of yesterday’s post, and in part in honor of the film-making award ceremony tonight, I thought I would share with you the next link for the Hillywood Lord of the Rings Parody. This is the “video diary” of “Samwise Gamgee”, or, the actor who plays Sam in the parody video. It contains a little bit more of the actor’s perspective, and is worth watching.

Have a lovely Sunday!

Behind the Scenes for the Lord of the Rings Parody

Note: If this is your first time to TotalFluff, please visit this brief explanation. Thanks!

Greetings, readers!

As the Webmaster shared (and I confirmed) yesterday, there is a very well done YouTube channel.

The Webmaster shared a video of their Lord of the Rings parody, set to the music of “Let it Go” from Frozen.

What she did not share, and one of the things I greatly appreciate about these performers, is that they have “behind-the-scenes” videos as well.

These do not necessarily go into as much detail as I might want, but it gives an interesting look into what goes on to make their videos. It is highly impressive.

Enjoy, and happy Saturday!

YouTubers I’m LOVING — Letting the LOTR Go…

Note: If this is your first time to TotalFluff, please visit this brief explanation. Thanks!

Hiya, Fluffsters!

So, I recently discovered a YouTube channel. And I am loving (some of) their work. It’s called “the Hillywood Show”. It’s put together by two sisters. And they make musical “parodies” / tributes to some fantastic movies and shows. For example, they did one for The Lord of the Rings… set to the tune of “Let it Go” from Frozen. The two sisters play Frodo and Samwise. (They do not provide the voices. But, yeah.)

Wow. That is really impressive work!

I know, right?! Frozen fit so nicely with that!

I am not entirely sure you understand just how impressive that actually was, Webmaster.

You see, in addition to the lip-syncing being excellent, many of the camera shots used were identical to the original films. Furthermore, the acting involved in that is outstanding.

Oh, yeah! It absolutely is.

So, I’m going to be sharing more of their work on this blog as it seems appropriate. (And as I encounter things that I understand, that I think you’ll enjoy.)

Have a lovely weekend!
