A song that deserves re-visiting

Hiya, Fluffsters!

So, Fluffy shared this video about a year and a half ago. But given that the new Star Wars movie is out and is doing well and stuff, I thought I’d share it with you again. Because it’s worth it.

And because it’s something good that came from the prequels.

Enjoy!

Surprisingly Sweet How It Should Have Ended

Hiya, Fluffsters!

Today’s post isn’t puppy related. Instead, it’s once more Star Wars related. (Because, really. How can you ever have enough Star Wars in your life?)

It’s a “How It Should Have Ended” video for Revenge of the Sith. I normally like their work. And it only came out a couple weeks ago.

Enjoy!

We took my dog’s sweater off and now she looks naked

Hiya, Fluffsters!

So, I’m doing a pretty good job of making things “puppy related” this year so far…

So, my puppy (who you saw yesterday) got a definite haircut a few weeks ago. She ended up rolling in something, and so her hair got really matted with no chance of being brushed out, so we needed to take her in for a major haircut, even though it’s the cold season. Because we needed to get so much of her hair off, we also got her a sweater. And she’d been wearing it fairly regularly. (It was really cute: The last time I took it off and then put it back on, it was quite clear that she was happy to get it back. I can’t say I blame her; it provided more of the warmth that she’s accustomed to.)

Anyway. We just needed to take the sweater off again so that we can wash it. And so that her hair can “air out” and stuff. (Don’t worry, we’re also giving her extra access to warmer stuff. She should be able to stay warm.) The thing is, though, that I’d gotten accustomed to seeing her wearing her sweater. So now, she looks naked to me. I find that a bit amusing. After all, she didn’t look naked until she got clothes. And she does still have a color, and the bow that she got when groomed…

So, yeah.

It’s amusing, and rather adorable.

ave a lovely Sunday!

Rather Amusing Mathematical New Year’s Resolutions

Note: If this is your first time to TotalFluff, please visit this brief explanation. Thanks!

Greetings, readers, and happy New Year!

I hope that 2016 goes well for you.

In the category of traditions: I am not presenting any personal “New Year’s Resolutions.” However, a friend shared these mathematician related new year’s resolutions, and I found them amusing. (They may require some understanding of more advanced mathematics. I still think they are worth sharing, however.)

I hope you have a lovely beginning of your year.

What does “dirt cheap” even MEAN?

Hiya, Fluffsters!

Happy New Year’s Eve!

I realize that I kinda should be doing a more themed post, in honor of the holiday and all that. But I don’t really want to take the time right now to go through all my posts from this year and find my favorites. Sorry.

Also, there’s a thought that’s been in the back of my mind for a while. The thought of the meaning of “dirt cheap”. I mean, seriously.

Alright, so at first glance, it seems to make sense. After all, dirt is thought of as being findable basically anywhere. But what kind of dirt are we even talking about? And why is that commonly assumed?

Like, are we talking about dirt from Mars? If so, that stuff is EXPENSIVE. (Do we even have any yet?)

On a less grand scale, think about different locations. Like a beach setting. There’s sand everywhere, but not necessarily dirt. So, would the dirt really be cheap? Afterall, there are shipping fees involved with getting dirt to a sandy location. And then the amount of time it takes to incorporate dirt into the sand. And stuff.

So I guess that what I’m trying to say is that I don’t think it’s entirely fair to use the phrase “dirt cheap.” It’s inaccurate.

And besides, it might hurt the dirt’s feelings.

So, yeah. And again, happy New Year’s Eve!

I hope you have a lovely day and evening and holiday and stuff.

What If Star Wars Episode III was Good?

Note: If this is your first time to TotalFluff, please visit this brief explanation. Thanks!

Greetings, readers!

Today’s post is the third in the “What if the Star Wars Prequels were actually Good” series. This one, Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, only came out this month.

Again, the usual language warnings are in place.

Enjoy.

What If Star Wars II Was Good?

Greetings, readers!

Today’s fluff is a continuation of yesterday’s. The same person who developed a redesign of Star Wars I also created a “What If” for Episode II: Attack of the Clones. It, too, is well done. (Again, I do not recall what language warnings to give to this video.)

I hope you have a lovely day.

What If Star Wars I was good? (A Re-post)

Greetings, readers!

As you may recall from a bit more than two years ago, I shared a YouTube video that examines what retweaking might have made Star Wars I: Phantom Menace actually good. As a brief reminder, I do not recall exactly what language warnings may be required pertaining to the video. I simply recall that it is well worth highlighting again, especially as the new movie has come out, and it has not disappointed critics nearly as much as the prequels did.

So, enjoy.
