Hi!

I’m currently having some time to do things for fun again, and I’m also in some slightly new social circles that don’t always know about my fun things. And this helped me also realize that it’s been a while since I’ve reviewed some favorite ways to waste spend time.

So, to start with: Harry Potter. This one has a bonus of lots of extra ways to spend time.

First, there are the books. These are worth a reread, and I’m planning to do that pretty soon.

There are also the movies. This gives eight feature-length amounts of times. So, fun!

And you also have the extras. So all in all, the Official Potter-verse is a great way to spend time.

I’m once again around an adorable little fluffball. (The same one as usual.) And I just discovered how to get her to be rather bothered: Give her a treat. Exactly one treat. When she knows there are multiple inside.

So. Somebody recently posted about a thing I’d never heard of: chocolate hummus.

I have no idea how I feel about that. I mean, I realize that mostly I think of hummus as being garlicky because there’s garlic in said hummus, not because chickpeas always taste garlicky. So, that’s probably not an issue per say. But it’s still weird to think about.

What do you think?

D&D and Rubber Ducks

I apparently have ducks on the mind. (Sometimes literally. They like to sit.)

And I guess there’s one advantage of the Photobombers just following me around. They’re actually surprisingly trainable. And so, I got to play in a game last night where we used some of the ninja-ducks (and others) as the figurines. (Which was particularly helpful when we were using hiding things and such.)

It was fun.

And here’s photographic evidence. I’m assuming they made it into the photo.

Hi!

I was having lunch with friends, and weird foods came up. And so somehow, I ended up using the phrase “favorite culinary monstrosity” with regards to my Zombie Brain Jello that I made.

I’m actually fairly happy with that phrase, and may need to keep it. And after all, isn’t it pretty perfect?
