I am happy with people’s priorities. They’ve started realizing that part of the allure of trailers is that they have epic music… especially when combined with the timed sound effects. And so some people have started uploading the music to YouTube!
Now, one of the other reasons it makes me happy (even though this particular version has a bit of randomness…) is that it lets me talk about did you even notice the variation on Imperial March they included? Like, isn’t it FANTASTIC? Yeah, I realize they the primary change is they made something take 3 notes instead of 2. It still adds a touch of suspense and motion to it, and I love it and am already hoping this is a theme throughout the new soundtrack so I can listen to it on repeat.

THERE’S A NEW STAR WARS TRAILER OUT!!! And it looks like it’ll be cool!
I have to say, though, it’s kinda interesting how much the art-form of trailers has changed. It successfully ties in “cool, awesome!!” moments, while also not actually telling much of anything about the story.
So, yup!
(At least we know that Luke is not only in this movie, but also has lines!)
