Fun, Epic arrangements of Christmas Carols!

Note: If this is your first time to TotalFluff, please visit this brief explanation. Thanks!

So, I realize that I maaaay have been a bit “off” with when Christmas Music season started… I think I’ve previously protested it starting too early. In part, that’s because there are a LOT of WAAAAY overdone ones that get started way to early. So, this was probably the first time in a while I’ve been excited about Christmas music!

Anyway. I found a different arrangement of Carol of the Bells. Since it’s now December 1, and therefore an acceptable time for Christmas music by (pretty much) any standard, I thought I’d share it. Enjoy!

A “tip” I didn’t know people didn’t know…

Hello!

So, I learned something the other day. More to the point, I learned that some people needed to learn a particular something. It has to do with a typical typing keyboard.

You know how there’s the little horizontal touchable doohickey on “f” & “j” of the keyboard, and 5 for a number-pad? So that you can find/feel that your fingers are at the right location for typing, without needing to look? (And without needing to type to see if you’re off by a few?)

I found out the other day that some people didn’t know that. Or at least, I think I found that out.

To be fair, I came to this realization after watching a “Ten Crazy Facts You Never Knew” video, or something along those lines. Given that somebody thought the info about the home-row key raised bar-thingy was worth including, I’m guessing that this wasn’t actually taught in everyone’s typing instruction. (I don’t remember if it was in mine or not. I don’t remember a time I haven’t been touch-typing… I know it exists since I remember learning to type, but I don’t remember life before typing.) (Yes, I realize that seems like a contradiction. Tough.)

Anyway. I thought it was interesting.

Have a lovely Wednesday!

Happy Black Friday — Let the Christmas Music Commence!

Note: If this is your first time to TotalFluff, please visit this brief explanation. Thanks!

Hello!

So, as you know, yesterday was Thanksgiving. That makes today “Black Friday.” More importantly, though, it’s now ok (from my and others’ perspective) to start playing Christmas music in America. I know that those outside the US get to start early since they don’t have the same late-November holiday. But here, it’s more appropriate to wait until after Thanksgiving before putting up Christmas decorations, or singing (or playing) Christmas music.

A lot of stores ignore this, but oh well.

Anyway. So, that means that now that Thanksgiving is over, it’s fine to play Christmas music! So, I’m reminding everyone that this epic piece of epicness exists.

Enjoy!

Thanksgiving and 1000th Webmaster Post!

Note: If this is your first time to TotalFluff, please visit this brief explanation. Thanks!

Hello!

So… Long time no see. Ish. Or something.

You see, this is the Thousandth Post where I, The Webmaster, am the listed author. So yeah, some of them may essentially be posts from The Student on the cooking website, and I may have contributed significant amounts to some of the posts where Fluffy McGiggles is the listed author, but this is still the 1000th affiliated with “Webmaster” as the author. So, that’s exciting! And it feels like it should be a big deal.

And in honor of that, and in honor of Thanksgiving, the American holiday devoted to giving thanks, I just wanted to give a big shout-out to all of you. Thanks for reading. Thanks for sharing. And thanks for enjoying!

I hope you have a great Thanksgiving. And here are some old posts that are coming to mind.

First, a relatively seasonally appropriate one from last year, pertaining to California and Fall. I’m not sure why, but I just really like that one.

Second, one that’s been getting a lot of new readers. (Even if they don’t really stick around…) It’s the one about “The Fox Box”.

Third, because the Fox Box reminded me of it… the various posts about The Fox Song. (That’s an example of one I basically wrote, but that didn’t get characterized as “The Webmaster Wrote This.” Oh well.) Also, my later analysis of The Fox Song.

I’m thankful that some existed. It meant I had the opportunity to write about it.

Fourth, I’m rather pleased that I discovered the Kitten Takeover. After all, who knows? If it’s a part of the rainbows’ plan, this might help!

Anyway. What are some of your favorites? What are some things you’re thankful for? I’d encourage you to take some time today, and reflect!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Grootlet Exists!

Hello!

So, I’m fairly sure some of you are aware of Guardians of the Galaxy.

Well, I’m happy to be able to say that the new trailer for Guardians 2 is now out! And the best part? They have a small scene in the trailer with Grootlet!

I mean, he’s wearing a mini-Star Lord Jacket. How adorable is that?!

Anyway. Enjoy!

Update on Kickstarter’d Game!

Note: If this is your first time to TotalFluff, please visit this brief explanation. Thanks!

Hello!

So, remember a couple days ago when I mentioned that there’s a kickstarter’d game about “pretending to grownup“?

Well, there’s now a YouTube video demonstrating some basic game play! It looks like it’s going to be a totally ridiculous, completely fantastic time.

And there’s still time left to support it. So, check out the video!

And have a lovely day.

GORGEOUS Disney Portraits

Note: If this is your first time to TotalFluff, please visit this brief explanation. Thanks!

Hi!

So, I was recently shown an online gallery with gorgeous portraits of animated Disney Characters.

The artist seriously does a spectacular job. Especially with children, from my perspective. So, Lilo (and Stitch), and Elsa & Anna are my two particular favorites. Belle is also pretty excellent. (If you look closely, there’s a subtle Beast in the background.) And actually, so’s Mulan. (It hadn’t really registered how young Mulan probably was (given cultures of the time) until seeing her portraiture interpretation. But I keep coming back to Elsa & Anna. Probably because the artist captures Anna’s childlike wonder and Elsa’s older-sisterness so freakin’ perfectly. GAH!

So, yeah. Enjoy!

And happy Monday!

Fantastic Kickstarter’d Card Game!

Note: If this is your first time to TotalFluff, please visit this brief explanation. Thanks!

Hiya, readers!

I recently found a thing that I’m really amused by. It’s a card game. Aimed at millennials. It’s on Kickstarter.

It’s called “Pretending to Grownup“. (Yes, “Grownup” has been verbed. It’s a thing.)

I found the concept quite fun, and the art super endearing. And besides, what other cardgames offer a “unipegasaurus”, the cross between a unicorn, a pegasus, and a dinosaur?

I’m very much looking forward to it being actually available…

Anyway. Have a lovely Saturday!
