The Lost Prince of Hadanelle: Scene 3

Note: If this is your first time to TotalFluff, please visit this brief explanation. Thanks!

Hello, Fluffsters!

So I just realized, it’s been a long time since I last posted a scene from The Lost Prince of Hadenelle. Which is possibly a good thing, since it might mean that I’ve actually had a bit of time recently.

Or that there’s extra fluff in the world. You know.

But all that to say, Here’s scene 3 from “The Lost Prince of Hadanelle“.

Just a reminder, this is all a work in progress. Please don’t steal my work, etc., and please don’t expect this to stay the same between now, and when I finish the story.

I hope you enjoy!

Shakespearean Revenge at a whole new level…

Hello, Fluffsters! Happy Tuesday!

So, I came across an… interesting… article the other day. Apparently somebody didn’t quite check seller reliability before trying to purchase a gaming system. He didn’t get the system. In revenge, he sent the seller texts. Multiple thousands of texts. Of Shakespeare.

I’m not entirely sure whether this really is a “just rewards” situation or not. But really. Receiving twenty-nine thousand texts? That’s impressive.

What do you think the proper response should have been?

Christian Humor Video

Hello, Fluffsters!

In honor of it being Sunday, I wanted to share an amusing video with you that I expect many who grew up in a church environment will find amusing.

It’s a video called Handmotions in Heaven.

Spoiler Basically it’s a song that asks, with handmotions, whether or not there will be handmotions in heaven. But you probably guessed that from the name of the song.

The chorus gets a little repetitive, and one of the verses has a little bit of “boy humor” (from my perspective), but verse two is amazing. For those of you not as aware of YouthGroup culture from a while ago, all the words (when he’s in the “evangelization section”) are taken directly from popular praise songs, most of which have the hand motions associated with them that the performers use. End spoilers.

Without further ado, here’s the song. Enjoy!

Making Flowers Smash and Stuffs

Hello, Fluffsters! Happy Saturday!

I had a fun night last night.

We got to shatter flowers! It was fun. We dipped it in cold liquid stuff, and threw them on the ground, and they shattered.

flower shattered by liquid nitrogen.

The flowers shattered. 🙂

Aren’t those cool?

…That would be liquid nitrogen, would it not?

Oh. Right. Yeah.

That is what it was called!

So, did you do anything fun?

Stargazing with Astigmatism

Note: If this is your first time to TotalFluff, please visit this brief explanation. Thanks!

Hello, Fluffsters! Happy Tuesday!

So, tonight I had a bit of fun. The sky where I was was actually a bit clear, so I was able to stargaze for a bit. There’s an unfortunate bit of light pollution where I was, so I still couldn’t see that much, but I could see more than if the nearly constant cloud cover was here…

Anywho.

So one of the fun things about Stargazing for me is that I have fairly bad eyes. Part of my badness of eyeness comes from something called an “Astigmatism.” (I’m so glad Google exists- I wouldn’t have known how to spell it otherwise. I mean, I started with an e. “Estigmatism, anyone?”)

What that means is that I sometimes think things move when they aren’t actually moving.

When you’re dealing with stars, it’s sort of fun. “Ooh, is that bright shiny a star, a planet, a shooting star, or an airplane? Let’s look away for a half second and see… Is it still about in the same place? I guess it’s not a shooting star. It’s a bit red, so it’s either a planet or a plane… Or a UFO. (Although I guess technically since I haven’t exactly identified it yet, and from my perspective it’s flying, it’s a UFO…) Huh. Well, whatever it is, it’s pretty!”

Also, I’m not sure whether it’s the astigmatism, the cloud covering, or the stars themselves, but the bright shinies in the sky also seem to pulse a bit.

It’s really pretty. I don’t recommend getting astigmatism for the sole purpose of stargazing, but if you already have it, I’d try stargazing at some point.

I hope you enjoy your day!

Hello, Fluffsters! Happy Monday!

More importantly, happy St. Patrick’s Day!

In honor of this holiday that traditionally includes copious amounts of alcohol, I’d like to share this link with pictures of animals that can’t figure out how to properly use furniture.

Enjoy. And stay safe!

In Honor of Pi Day

Hello, Fluffsters! Happy Friday!

Do you know what other day it is?

It’s Pi Day! Happy 3/14, everyone!

I do not have a new Piem for you today, but I do have a link to share. Somebody made a very interestingly shaped pie a while ago. And since it’s pi day, I thought I’d share the link to the “picosahedron” they made.

I hope you have an excellent pi day!

AMAZING Star Wars Art

Hello, Fluffsters!

A friend just shared this on Facebook, and I needed to make this a fluff post. It’s art. Of Star Wars. With the idea of “What if Star Wars was set in an 80’s High School?”

Have you looked at it yet?

Ok, good.

OH MY, ISN’T THAT AWESOME? It totally captures the essence of the characters, don’t you think? I think I especially like R2D2, C3PO, Coach Yoda, and Prof Kenobi.

Some of the scenes from there are also AMAZING. The picture where Prof Kenobi saves Luke from the “Sand People”? Doesn’t that totally capture the essence of the scene?

And oh my, Han shooting Greedo first? With the straw shooter?

And, frankly, both R2’s and Luke’s expressions in the picture where Yoda is training Luke are also so priceless.

I should probably stop fangirling now… I hope you enjoyed!

So a fad came and went without my realizing it…

Hello, Fluffsters! Happy Friday!

I’m feeling way behind the times.

It turns out, there was an entire game that came, became popular, and then became discontinued without my realizing it. And it was apparently quite popular, too!

The game was a thing called Flappy Bird. The purpose, apparently, was to stay alive for as long as possible.

(Since I never had the opportunity to play it, I don’t actually know for sure.)

And then, just as I was starting to become aware of Flappy Bird’s existence, I found out that the inventor discontinued it.

At least there was an interesting(ish) explanation of why I’ll (probably) never be able to play that game… At least, not for less than $900, which is the listed price of a phone with Flappy Bird installed.

About all I can say is, some people need a new hobby.

Well, have a great weekend!

Hello, Fluffsters!!

I found a very interesting link the other day, thanks to a friend.

It’s a to-scale map of space (from the Sun to Pluto) if the moon were one pixel large. It’s really cool. And quite huge. I knew the sun was huge relative to Earth and the moon. What hadn’t really sunk in before was how huge the emptiness really is! You should check it out- it’s interesting. Well, sortof. It’s actually fairly boring and time consuming. But it makes an interesting point.

And the comments the creator of the website makes are somewhat amusing…

This also works as an excellent procrastination device. You can get away with not doing your school work because you’re learning SCIENCE!! And who can argue with your attempts to learn stuff? (Heads up, it does take a while to scroll all the way through. Seriously.)

I hope you enjoy!
