There is a website: chess.com. It has the potential to be free. It also has some fun puzzles. In particular, I am enjoying the solo chess option. It sets up a puzzle, and the rules are that only a single piece must remain, each move must capture a piece, and each piece may only make two captures per game. If there is a king, the King must also be taken last.
It is rather entertaining, and worth exploring.

So. Somebody recently posted about a thing I’d never heard of: chocolate hummus.
I have no idea how I feel about that. I mean, I realize that mostly I think of hummus as being garlicky because there’s garlic in said hummus, not because chickpeas always taste garlicky. So, that’s probably not an issue per say. But it’s still weird to think about.

I apparently have ducks on the mind. (Sometimes literally. They like to sit.)
And I guess there’s one advantage of the Photobombers just following me around. They’re actually surprisingly trainable. And so, I got to play in a game last night where we used some of the ninja-ducks (and others) as the figurines. (Which was particularly helpful when we were using hiding things and such.)
It was fun.
And here’s photographic evidence. I’m assuming they made it into the photo.

I was looking at rubber ducks available for sale, and found an amusing set that totally don’t violate any sort of copyright violation. After all, they’re just superhero ducks. There’s absolutely no discussion of which superheroes they are, and their emblems are all Duck Themed! So, yep!

I was having lunch with friends, and weird foods came up. And so somehow, I ended up using the phrase “favorite culinary monstrosity” with regards to my Zombie Brain Jello that I made.
I’m actually fairly happy with that phrase, and may need to keep it. And after all, isn’t it pretty perfect?

A few days ago, somebody either broke a guinness world record, or created a new one. Not sure which.
Regardless, it involved juggling. And solving not just one, but three rubix cubes. While juggling them.
