Hi, Fluffsters!
I had a super, wonderful, amazing evening last night. I went to the local swing club, and they had an “intermediate lesson” for Charleston.
For any of you who don’t know, Charleston is slightly different from swing. Completely different basic step. Lots bouncier. Highly energetic.Fun. Like, really fun.
One of the best parts was that it was basically an hour, practically nonstop, of dancing! (Usually only one girl was sitting out, which is an excellent ratio for a social dance.
So, yeah. Fun night. Charleston. You should try it.

Greetings, readers!
Today, I encountered a marvelous thing on the internet. Somebody on Tumblr has started taking modern songs, and is putting them in the form of Shakespearean sonnets. There is one for “Let it Go” from Frozen, “Royals”, “Stayin’ Alive”, and many others. They are brilliantly done, and actually provide a bit of meaning for the songs.

Hello, Fluffsters!
So, I found something really cool online. Apparently, there’s a new invisibility cloak thingy making the rounds. And apparently, you can now make a small one for supposedly about $100. You know what this means, right?
Military issues might become a little more pressing?
No! Well, maybe. But that wasn’t what I was going for. Nope, what I’m thinking is that maybe next year, you’ll be able to go as a cloaked Klingon Bird of Prey for Halloween! Or Romulan War Bird. And then randomly uncloak, to freak people out, or something.
I mean, seriously. How cool would that costume be?

Hiya, Fluffsters!
So, The Student from the Cooking Blog Sister Website made what are being called “Masochist Cookies.” They’re very similar to the cookie recipe listed in my website’s recipe section, but this recipe actually has some instructions with it. And an ingredient list. So, yeah. Check it out. And careful if you try it. Or something.

Hi, Fluffsters!
As I mentioned yesterday, I finished up my series on Celebrate Fall. At least for right now.
And now it’s October. This is a fun month! Not only is it National Cyber-Security Awareness Month, it’s also the month of Halloween! (And there are LOTS of fun things that can happen for that…)
Also, not only is the month special. A lot of the days are special, too! Clearly, October 31 is Halloween. But today is also an important day. It’s International Music Day!
In other words, October’s a pretty good month.
And in honor of Halloween, October in general, and International Music Day in particular, here’s some of my favorite “spookier” music. (This would make excellent background music for a Halloween party. And I can almost guarantee you that it’ll be played on at least one radio station on Halloween. If Radio Stations are still around by then, of course.)
(That poses another question- if a radio station plays a piece of music, and there’s nobody listening, does it actually make a sound? But I digress.) Right. Music!
This is one of my personal favorites. It’s one that many people know because of Disney’s Fantasia: The Sorcerer’s Apprentice.
You would post the one with animation…
Well, yes.
Then, there’s the other classic: In the Hall of the Mountain King
Again, I can practically guarantee you that this will be played at some Halloween party somewhere. And not even one that I’m hosting!
But this is still one of my favorites.
If any of you readers desire a more “modern” sound for the music, however, or if any of you simply appreciate cool science toys, this version of Hall of the Mountain King is pretty fantastic as well. Scientific Devices play it.
Well, if you’re getting into Tesla coils, here’s another great one: The Imperial March from Star Wars!
Yeah, I don’t know why the announcer called it the “Titanic” theme…
Anywho. I’ve already posted a lot of videos. So I should probably quit there.
But I hope you have a very happy October! Any fun plans?

Hi, Fluffsters!
Today I’m finishing up my “Celebrate Fall” basic set of posts. And I encourage you to play with some leaves today!
After all, Fall is traditionally called such because the leaves fall from trees. And if you’re basically anywhere not where I am, you’ll actually get some pretty colors in your leaves.
No matter where you go, though, the leaves still crunch quite satisfyingly when you step on them.
So, have fun stepping on leaves!
If that’s not your preferred style, though, there are some other things you can do with leaves. For example, you can use them to decorate your wall. (You don’t need to add your own doodles to them, though… That’s entirely optional.)

Hi, Fluffsters!
For those of you who aren’t aware, Fall is often a time when new seasons of TV shows come out. That can be a lot of fun, and a great way to celebrate fall!
In related news, the new season of Once Upon a Time started last night. I like that show, and you might too.

Hi, Fluffsters! Happy Saturday!
I know that this movie was posted last year (I don’t remember whether it was one of Fluffy’s posts, or one of mine), but it’s well worth checking out. Especially for the season!
