Hello!

So, I made an interesting discovery the other day. Pertaining to Olive Oil.

And cookies.

And Play-Doh.

I am not entirely sure I like where this is going…

Yeah, I’m not I liked where it went, either…

Because, you see, I was making cake-mix cookies the other day, but didn’t have any vegetable oil. So I ended up using olive oil.

And it turns out there’s a reason the recipes don’t call for olive oil. Because, you see–

–Olive oil makes it taste like play-doh?

…

Yup.

How did you guess?

It was the logical conclusion, given your progression of the “fact” pertaining to olive oil.

…I suppose.

Yup. So. Fun fact about olive oil: You can use it to make play-doh-esque cookies!

Ayup.

So, I was recently shown a really cool music thingy. It’s very pretty, both in terms of sound, and in terms of sight. You see, the composer decided to compose by making the notes into the picture of the thing. Well, it’s a bit hard to explain. But here. This one is called “Bird in Rain”, or something like that.

So, I’m very happy to report that although Disney released the final trailer for the upcoming Beauty and the Beast remake, they’re still releasing NEW FOOTAGE! WHEEE!

Yep. Yesterday, they released a segment of the “Bonjour” scene.

My only problem with it is that Belle takes a loaf of bread… and doesn’t appear to pay for it. I have no clue what’s going on there. Maybe in this version she’s a bit klepto? That would be an interesting twist!

Anyway. Have a lovely day!

So, it’s been raining where I am. A lot.

And the other day? I got another cool picture I really like. It again has to do with reflections in mud-puddles. But this time, it also has a shadow involved.

So, a couple of the past few posts have been on a fantastic group that performed for Britain’s Got Talent, called “UDI.” They do amazing light/magic/neat-tech shows. And their performance for the Finals of BGT is possibly one of their best. (I love some of the visual effects. And the story is pretty ok, too!) So, yep.

Why this power outage isn’t as bad as it could be

So, I am once more needing to deal with a power outage while writing. And I’m realizing there are a few things I am VERY thankful for this outage.

1. I did laundry earlier today. So, I’m not needing to deal with clothes stuck mid-cycle or anything.

2. Camping lanterns. They are nice and bright, and the batteries seem to last reasonably well.

3. Light pollution. Outside is surprisingly bright at night, even with the outage!

4. Phones with internet. Even though my REAL internet is down, I’m able to write this post.

Yup.
