Things to do with Glitter Pens!

Note: If this is your first time to TotalFluff, please visit this brief explanation. Thanks!

Hiya, Fluffsters!

For some reason, I decided to invest in glitter pens a few days ago. And after that, I decided to make a couple pretties.

As in, I drew a couple celtic knots, and used glitter pens to color them in, and I’m happy with how they turned out.

So, yep!

I highly recommend glitter-pen-ing celtic knots. They’re sparkly!

Hiya, Fluffsters!

So, some of my procrastination for the past few days has included some doodling. Especially doodling of Celtic Knots.

(Celtic knots are just so pretty!)

So, yeah. There are a couple I doodled on this one. I’m especially fond of how the lower one turned out.

Anyway, have a lovely Monday!

Quick Wolf-Sketch Work In Progress

Note: If this is your first time to TotalFluff, please visit this brief explanation. Thanks!

Hi, Fluffsters! Happy Saturday!

Last night, I started work on a little wolf sketch. I think it’s kinda cute, and definitely looks a bit fluffy, so I’m going to upload it.

A wolf sketch the Webmaster made on her computer

I sketched this digitally. I’m pretty happy.

Yes, I know the fog looks a little silly. It’s primarily there because I can’t get leg anatomy right for wolves. At least, not yet. Actually, I just can’t get leg anatomy right, no matter what creature… with the possible exception of a smiley face.

No. That does not count as an exception.

Yeah, ok. So, I’m bad at anatomy. But I still am happy with how this little wolf is working out so far!

Dress Doodling Peeves

Fluffsters, I have a problem.

Well, actually I have several. Maybe even more than several. (Nobody’s perfect- not even me!) But I’m only going to focus on one right now.

Ok. So, for as long as I’ve been able to hold a pencil (or a crayon, or a marker, or anything) I’ve been doodling dresses. I love dresses.

The big problem, though, is that I can’t get the anatomy for the human figure right. Seriously. It’s as though my fingers refuse to draw a decent, accurate female body shape.

So, this is a problem. If I don’t know if the body shape is at all accurate, I cannot tell if it would be worthwhile to try to figure out how to make my dress ideas come to life. And I don’t want to spend $20 or more on a failure. (I like big, fluffy skirts, too, so it would likely even cost more. A lot more. Just on the fabric. Not including time.)

So I don’t know what to do. Should I try to make prototypes of the dresses anyway? Stick to doodling? Try to work on more accurate human anatomy, even though it’s not nearly as much fun as dress-drawing?

If you have any thoughts, just leave a comment below!

Happy (belated) Epiphany!

Note: If this is your first time to TotalFluff, please visit this brief explanation. Thanks!

Hello, Fluffsters! Happy Monday.

So. Something slightly odd happened in Church yesterday morning. We were celebrating Epiphany, which is the day we commemorate the wise men bringing gifts to Jesus. That’s not the odd part.

Wait. Fluffy didn’t interject with a “how odd.”

If I did that every time, I’d become predictable.

I guess that makes sense.

But as I was saying. The odd part was what happened when we sang “The First Noel.” (It’s a classic Christmas carol, but it talks about the wisemen. So therefore it’s epiphany.) You see, I started actually thinking about what the words were saying in verse three:

And by the light of that same star, Three wise men came from country far; To seek for a king was there intent, And to follow that star wherever it went.

As you may have gathered by my emphasis, the last part before the chorus really stood out to me. I had this image of the wise men / three kings following the star to wherever it was.

To seek for a king was their intent, and to follow the star wherever it went wise men.

The wise men 3 follow the star wherever it WENT… including Space.

…Hold on.

You drew a picture of “wise men three” with individual rocket packs? In space?

I understand that the physics probably doesn’t(? Don’t?) work. But the song does say that they followed wherever it went.

You have a very odd perspective.

Thank you, I think.

Well, Fluffsters, happy Monday! To any of you starting classes, I hope they all go well! And I hope to continue to provide you with a daily dose of procrastination stress relief! I hope you have an excellent week.

Doodling Rant

Note: If this is your first time to TotalFluff, please visit this brief explanation. Thanks!

Hello, Fluffsters!

So, I’m a bit annoyed. I cannot find the perfect medium.

Have you tried going for a perfect small or large instead?

…What? Oh. No. Medium, not medium.

I hope that wasn’t supposed to make sense. Because it doesn’t.

Huh. I guess it doesn’t work as well when typing.

What I was trying to say is that I can’t find the perfect thing to use for my doodlings.

Oh, artistic medium!

So, you’re ranting because you can’t doodle as well as you’d like?

Yeah. You see, I doodle a lot better with pencil and paper than I do with tablet computer and photoshop. But photoshop has layers. And layers are Ah. Maze. Ing.

Layers… Like onions have layers?

Actually, sortof yes.

Photoshop layers are wonderful. Basically, they’re a way of putting stuff on top of a previously drawn / designed thing, and not losing that picture.

Think of it as paper dolls. You can create the separate clothes, and put them on top of the doll. The doll is there, but so’s the dress. Layers are like that, except it has to do with the drawing itself. And it can be a lot more fine-tuned.

Ok. So your problem is…?

I’m a lot more precise with pencil and paper.

I just doodled this while I was procrastinating from other writing I’m supposedly doing.

Female Human Head Pencil Doodle the Webmaster Did.

This is actually much larger than the doodle itself.

I could never get that kind of precision on Photoshop.

But with pencil and paper, when I erase something, it doesn’t show a previous layer. It shows the paper.

So, let me get this straight… You’re ranting because a doodle you were making while procrastinating wasn’t as high tech as you wanted.

That’s not phrased as a question…

Right. I’m stating a fact. That is what you’re doing, after all.

Huh. I guess it is.

Well, it’s still rantworthy!

Clearly some think so, since you just ranted about it.

So, happy Saturday, Fluffsters!

Old Animation I Made

Note: If this is your first time to TotalFluff, please visit this brief explanation. Thanks!

Hello, Fluffsters! Happy Saturday!

Do you know something? I love having this blog. It gives me the opportunity to procrastinate search for viable material for the daily post. That means that I have the opportunity to go back through all my old pictures and stuffs, and it’s because I’m looking for material for my posts!

For example, there was a period of my life a few years ago when I was really into simple animations. As in, hand-drawn animated gifs. I just found an old ninja pic I made!

An animated ninja. He pops up to say hello!

Ninja I animated a while ago

(If you can see him, you might want to refresh the page. Or click the picture, and then press ctrl + f5 for a complete refresh. Once he comes up on the screen, he likes to stay there. A lot.)

Clearly he’s not the best ninja of all time, since he’s sortof, like, visible. But isn’t he still really cute?

But what about you, fluffsters? Did you have any favorite activities when you were younger? I’d love to read about it in the comment section below!

Have a wonderful Saturday!

Another picture I made

Hello, Fluffsters!

As usual, when I actually have time to write a decently-lengthed fluff post, I end up on Photoshop instead.

But a picture’s worth 1000 words, right?

So, here’s another picture.

Happy Friday! I hope you have a good one.

Creeper Rainbow: Illustrated

Note: If this is your first time to TotalFluff, please visit this brief explanation. Thanks!

In honor of my Stalker Rainbow showing himself to me again yesterday-

OH NO. NOT your crazy conspiracy about how rainbows are creepers again?

…I’m going to pretend I didn’t hear that.

AS I was saying. In honor of him showing himself to me, I drew a picture of him. That way if he attacks me, I’ll be able to report him to the police, and already have the pictures for the wanted poster available.

Creepy Stalker Rainbow waiting to POUNCE!

He’s hiding in a TOTALLY inconspicuous way, so that he can POUNCE!

You’ve got to be the only one

Who makes wanted posters? That’s not true! There are over 22,000 people searching for “wanted poster” templates! So, my wanted poster can’t be out of the ordinary.

An old-west styled wanted poster for the Stalker Rainbow

Wainted: For General Creepiness

Uh… I was referring to your referring to rainbows as “creepy.” And drawing creepy rainbow pictures.

Now that is definitely not true. First, that picture isn’t that creepy, except for the rainbow in it. Even so, I couldn’t help but cute-ify him a bit.

Second, there are search results for creepy rainbow pictures. (A lot of them are a lot creepier than that picture. So I don’t suggest doing it.

…So why did you look in the first place?

Empirical evidence against your position?

…I guess that actually makes sense.

Anyways, Fluffsters, happy Thursday! Just think, it’s almost the weekend!
